Early-mid 1970's Gibson Les Paul Signature Goldtop in its original finish. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It's all original and 100% complete. The included Gibson hardshell case is from the same period of time, but fits a ES-175. It is still a suitable case to protect this guitar, but the handle is slightly damaged. There is a factory "SECOND" stamp on the back of the headstock. Under the blacklight it is evident that the back and sides of the headstock had been refinished at the Gibson factory making it a factory second. This also explains why it is difficult to read the light impression of the serial number (120902) and the "MADE IN USA" stamp. This guitar is in EXCELLENT condition with some very minor nicks + dings, light belt buckle wear, and other cosmetic wear including an area on the back of the body that was worn down to the wood. The worn area was then covered in some type of clear coat that was applied with a brush. The guitar itself is structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. All electronics work and sound great while all solder joints remain original and untampered with. All Illinois residents please add 8.75% sales tax. We are happy to ship internationally.
