1971 Gibson Flying V Medallion Limited Edition. This is #111. It has a great playing neck with good frets. It's all original with the exception of the mid-'70's ferrules for the tuning keys and the ground wire. It's also 100% complete with the exception of a tiny notch made in the side of the pickguard to provide clearance for the treble side of the tailpiece to be further lowered. It even has its original hardshell case with its original case medallion. There are minor nicks + dings, extremely light belt buckle wear and other minor cosmetic wear including some marks in the finish on the underside of the body + headstock caused by old guitar stands. There was another set of tuning keys at one point in time which required the tuning peg holes to be slightly widened (this causes some of the ferrules to fit a little loose). The original set of double-line double-ring Kluson Deluxe tuners are back in place. A couple of tuning button posts are slightly bent, but still very functional. The guitar itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or repairs. All electronics work and sound great with its original set of patent # sticker pickups. The weight is 6 lbs. 13 oz.
