Olivia's Vintage would like to present this original early 1961 Gibson EB-0 bass that has been refinished Pelham Blue. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It's all original with the exception of the '60's Firebird banjo style tuning keys and one of the pots. It's also 100% complete (with the exception of one capacitor) along with its original nickel plated palm rest and spacers. The case is a slightly later Gibson hardshell case. In early '61 this was the latest version of the slab body EB-0 as it has the larger headstock that originally had paddle tuning keys on it. Prior to the refinish, all screw holes from those tuning keys were properly filled and are now undetectable as this set of original Gibson Firebird tuning keys look very natural on the back of the headstock. The tuning peg holes were left at their original size, so the ferrules don't quite fill in all the space which is slightly visible from the face of the headstock. This unique and rare bass looks incredible with nicks + dings, typical finish checking, and other cosmetic wear. All electronics work and sound great.
