1973 Rickenbacker 360 Fireglo
Rickenbacker
$2,955
Rare version of a 1973 Rickenbacker 360 in a brilliant Fireglo finish showing off a very impressive BIRD's EYE MAPLE TOP! This is one of the last 360 models to have checkerboard binding, the earliest version of the hi-gain pickups (which were first used in the 381 model during the late '60's), and a STUNNING set of crushed pearl triangle inlays. It has a great playing neck with good frets. All parts are original to the guitar with the exception of some minor electronic components (all pots are original and date to 1973). Included is the original hardshell case. You'll notice cracking in the finish around the heel joint, but it's the finish only as the neck joint is secure and has not moved. There are also finish cracks runing alongside the fingerboard seam as there is some extremely slight fingerboard separation which does not affect the playability of this guitar. It plays AMAZING with great action. All electronics work and sound great. The neck pickup reads on the meter at 13.80 while the bridge pickup reads at 6.59. There are nicks + dings, belt buckle wear on back, and other cosmetic wear. Everything remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs.
