1961 Gretsch Chet Atkins 6120

1961 Gretsch Chet Atkins 6120 in its original finish. It has a great playing neck with worn, but good frets having some minor fret buzz past the 12th fret on the bass side. It's all original with the exception of the jackplate which was added to better secure a damaged area around the jack's hole. It's also 100% complete including its original hardshell case. There is also a 1 1/2" secured crack on the lower bass side of the neck running between the 12th-14th frets just below the binding. It remains a cosmetic flaw only as it does not affect the structurally integrity of the guitar. The pickguard and pickup rings have some cracks, of which one on the pickguard has been glued and is secure. There are some nicks + dings, minor finish checking, and other cosmetic wear. This vintage Gretsch is structurally sound with the "trestle" bracing. All electronics work and sound great.
