1961 Gibson ES-345 rare BLONDE!!! factory MONO Varitone!!!

SOLD

1961 Gibson ES-345 in its original BLONDE finish. It has a great playing neck with great frets. It's all original with the exception of the nut, possibly the cover for the bridge position pickup, two of the tuning keys (the originals are included but have broken buttons), and the frets as it was re-fretted with slightly wider frets a long time ago. It's also 100% complete including its original hardshell case. It's in EXCELLENT condition with only some extremely minor nicks + dings, and other cosmetic wear. This guitar was used with some type of protective back pad that was held in place with the strap buttons, and two small straps that wrapped around the narrow side of the body and secured by the two upper pickup ring screws for the bridge position pickup. The back pad has left some very light impressions in the finish from case storage while the pad was still on the guitar. These impressions are only noticeable when light reflects directly on those areas which are mostly on the back of the body. There is also an extremely tiny pinhole on the top of the body between the anchors for the tailpiece. Everything remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. All electronics work and sound great with its original pair of PAF pickups. This 345 was factory wired as mono varitone.
