1961 Fender JAZZ BASS Sunburst STACK KNOB!!! 100% complete!!!

SOLD

Olivia's Vintage would like to present this 1961 Fender Jazz Bass in its original Sunburst finish. It has a great playing slab board neck with great frets. It's all original and 100% complete including its original mutes, chrome covers, and original hardshell case. This original "Stack Knob" Jazz Bass looks great with some nicks + dings, and other cosmetic wear including one very small pickguard crack at the tip of the treble side. The bass itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. All electronics work and sound great as it provides an authentic early '60's Jazz Bass tone while all solder joints remain original and untampered with. The pots both date to the 8th week of 1961, and there is a body date of August 1960 located in the upper pickup cavity. The neck has most likely never been removed from the body, and remains bonded in the neck pocket even when the neck plate was removed. We have chosen to not force the neck from the neck pocket as this bass provides enough details proofing its authenticity without having to remove the neck. It is a very well preserved example of the first version of a Fender Jazz Bass. All Illinois residents please add 8.75% sales tax. We are happy to ship internationally, and have CITES certificates available for rosewood exports.
